Apply for a First Church Scholarship
The First Congregational Church of Harwich makes available several scholarships from our General Scholarship Fund to local high school students (General Fund) and to ministry and Christian Education students (Wood Fund) as funding allows.
High school graduates who are members of the First Congregational Church of Harwich and their extended families are eligible to apply for a General Scholarship, or Continuing Education Scholarship if you have received one of our scholarships in the past. Residents of Harwich and members of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Harwich Port are also eligible to apply.
Ministry and Christian Education students who are Harwich residents, First Church members or their extended families, or members of congregations within the Southern New England Conference of the UCC are invited to apply for a scholarship through the Wood Fund.
Scholarships are awarded to assist with the cost of attending college, community college, trade schools, or seminary.
